Franklin County, OH Selects Quicket for Court Automation and eSignature Solution

Quicket Solutions, the leading cloud-based software platform for the public sector, has partnered with the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas to implement its innovative court form automation and eSignature solution. Franklin County is the largest county in Ohio with over 1.3M residents, with Columbus as its county seat and state capital.

The Court of Common Pleas, which handles all felony cases and civil cases in which the sum or matter in dispute exceeds $15K, desired a comprehensive solution that could streamline both inside and outside of courtroom workflows, including the ability to intelligently generate all court documents by leveraging data from the case management system (CMS), securely distribute documents in real-time for eSignature, provide task management capabilities, efficiently handle expungements, deliver text/email notifications to involved parties, and more.

Quicket’s device-agnostic solution, which will be deployed on iPads, computers, and other devices will create a secure and paperless environment that dramatically reduces the time required to process cases. Franklin County will eliminate tedious word processing tasks through intelligent utilization of CMS data and pre-configured template language to automatically generate all court documents. With iPads installed in each courtroom and the ability to securely view documents remotely from locations such as the jail, each party has the ability to review all documents, electronically sign, and distribute in real-time without having to utilize 3rd party applications, printers, or a separate signature capture device.

Quicket was selected for this ambitious project to modernize Franklin County after it was determined that Quicket offers the only solution on the market that specializes in intelligent workflow automation with proven success in high-volume courtrooms. Quicket’s cloud-based platform is easy to implement and compatible with both Quicket’s cloud-based CMS and other major CMS providers.
